After testing newly delivered/read indicators and a photo picker redesign google added a new feature on their google massage app called emoji reactions. currently, this new feature is available for only some users. and this news comes from the 9to5Google after it previously confirmed the feature by enabling it in a previous version.
move to the Feature, while using the Google message app when you tap and hold on the incoming call you can react with any emoji you want
and you can tap in the emoji right corner to react to any messages. And look closely at this emoji next to the name of the recipient who reacted with it. if you are viewing reactions from a group message then All the names and the emoji they reacted with will appear in a pop-up prompt.
You can also add a new emoji by tapping on the new emoji icon in the emoji picker that is not listed. At this time, the new feature emoji reactions are only available to the latest Google Messages beta users.
