Delhi Man Duped Rs 29 Lakhs in Instagram on purchasing iPhone,
a group of unknown persons allegedly duped a Delhi man of Rs 29 lakh by selling cheap iPhones on Instagram. According to the police, a complaint has been filed by the victim against unnamed individuals.

According to officials who have complained against an unknown person in the cheating case, he has been identified as Vikas Katiyar, who lives in Delhi's Ghitorni locality. The complainant Katiyar told the police that a few days back, he visited an Instagram page where he saw iPhones being sold at a discount and was tempted to make a purchase.
On the other hand, to check whether it is a genuine page where he is going to buy iPhone at a cheap price, he contacted one of the old buyers from another Instagram page and he confirmed that the page is genuine, they giving the original iPhone to users, and then he ordered the phone on Feb 6, 2023, while According to Katiyar, a group of individual demanded payment in advance of 30% of the phone price, or Rs. 28,000. to order the phone
As per the Delhi victim's complaint, he transferred a total of Rs 28,69,850 to several different accounts, believing that he will get the money back with his mobile.
the Delhi Police has registered an FIR in the cyber police station of South West district. Further investigation of the matter is underway. (ANI)
