How to change Primary microsoft account on windows 11

When you log in Microsoft account on your new Windows PC or laptop then Windows use that account as your Primary account on Windows, windows allow users to change it, so can easily change your Default Microsoft account on Windows 11 by completing some simple Steps.


 Change Default Microsoft account on Windows 11

  • you can also use your Windows 11, without Adding a new Account. you just need to create a Username and Password 

  • you can always Switch to an old account by doing the same thing. 


Step 1:  Open the "Setting" on your Windows 11 based Pc or laptop

Step 2: Go to "Account" Option



Step 3: Now Tap on Your "Info", here you can manage and personalize your account.




Step 4: here, Click on the "Sign in a local account instead" option to disconnect the account.



Step 5: Click the "Next" button, to continue



Step 6:  Type the "Password"



Step 7: Now here you need to create a "Username", "Password" and as well a "password Hint"


Step 8: Then Tap on the "Next" button to finish it


*Now you are almost there, you have successfully removed the Primary account on your Windows 11 So, after doing it you need to add a new and existing Microsoft account to use all the Windows features. but you can also use your PC or Laptop without adding a Microsoft account. So, Now let's move on to our next Step.


Step 9: Tap on "Sign in with a Microsoft account instead"




Step 10: Now "Sign" in with your Microsoft account, if you don't have then you can create a new one by tapping on "Create one".


Step 11: Then enter the current Windows password to finish it.
