How To use Meta's new Threads App, feature and more

The most well-known tech company Meta owns multiple platforms including Instagram, WhatsApp, and more. Now after owning these apps, yesterday on July 6, Mark's company Meta has launched a new platform called Threads in the Market. Have a look at more information.

What is Threads App

Threads, the latest platform launched by Meta, provides users with an opportunity to actively participate in public conversations, share diverse content, and interact with others in a meaningful way its new Platform allows users to share text, post, links, reply or report messages, and join public conversations like Twitter. So, this New Threads Platform brings the same features as Twitter. However, it is currently launched in 100 Countries. The app is available on both Apple and Play Store.

Threasds's Feature

• Posts can be up to 500 characters long including links, photos, and videos up to 5 minutes in length.
• You can get Blue Tick if you are verified on Instagram.
• post can be shared on any platform via a link.
• if the Instagram account is blocked, then the threads account will be also blocked.
• You can unfollow, block, restrict, or report a profile on Threads same as Instagram.
• you can control who can mention you or reply within Threads.
• you can share anyone's post on your Story.

What You Need to Use Threads App

This New Threads app works on Instagram account, you only need to have one Instagram account to use its new platform. whenever you sign up. It will automatically verify all your details with your Instagram account.

How to use Threads App

Step 1: Open the Play or App Store on your Smartphone and Search

" Threads ", Download it

* You must have the Instagram app installed on your phone to log in to this app.

Step 2: Open the threads App, Here the app will automatically detect the Instagram account > Click on your username.  

Step 3: Now, here you can create a new name, bio and add links as well. But if you want to keep these things the same as your Instagram account then click on "Import from Instagram Instagram".

 

Step 4: After clicking on it, your username, bio, and link will be copied from your Instagram account > Tap on continue.

Step 5:  Now, Choose any one option, Public profile or Privet profile > Tap on Continue.

Step 6:  Here, you can see some account recommendations. you can skip this step by clicking on the Skipping button, in the top right corner > " Join Threads "

Now after doing this, you have successfully logged in. You can easily use it.
